Telefónica, the Spanish-based telecommunications company, is to offer Yahoo's mobile search product to Telefónica's mobile portals in 15 countries in Europe and Latin America.

Yahoo oneSearch is an internet search tool specifically designed for mobile devices.

OneSearch will make it easier for Telefonica's customers to find relevant search results on their mobile devices by providing access to news, financial information, weather, Internet images, as well as Internet and mobile Web sites on the first screen.

Telefónica customers will have direct access to Flickr, an online photo sharing community owned by Yahoo.

Under the terms of the agreement, Yahoo Mail will be integrated into Telefónica's Mail Express service, providing Yahoo Mail users with the ability to receive their Yahoo Mail messages directly on their mobile phone via MMS messaging.

Telefónica is a provider of fixed and mobile telephony, with operations in 24 countries. The company has more than 212 million customers worldwide.

Recently, Telefónica has concentrated its telecommunications business, reinforcing its presence in the fixed and mobile telephony markets and orientating its business model towards satisfying the communication needs of its customers.
