Alcatel-Lucent, MTS Ukraine and RIM have announced the launch of the Blackberry in the Ukraine.
Using the smart phones, customers will be able to make use of it’s features on the MTS Ukraine network. These features include sending and receiving e-mail, making phone calls, browsing the web, text messaging as well as a range of cooperate applications.
Under the deal between Alcatel-Lucent and MTS Alcatel-Lucent will provide global integration services, which will provide MTS Ukraine with launch, delivery and support services for Blackberry with the Ukrainian market.
With Alcatel-Lucent managing delivery and technology integration, MTS Ukraine will be able to focus on costumer facing services, which it predicts will be essential in order to meet demand.
