Mobile phone retailer, Carphone Warehouse, is expanding into the broadband market in Ireland with the launch of TalkTalk, its consumer telephone business, in the country.
Carphone Warehouse plans to launch TalkTalk Broadband products before Christmas, to both new and existing TalkTalk customers.
The service is designed to be flexible, straightforward and good value for money.
Customers will be able to choose their broadband speed and bundle this with any of three packages, Talk1, Talk2 and Talk3.
Two of the packages will offer download speeds of 1Mbs and 2Mbps respectively, and other speeds may also be available.
Carphone Warehouse has also announced TalkTalk Business, a new telecoms service for business customers in Ireland.
TalkTalk Business provides an online account through the website www.talktalkbusiness.ie, which allows companies to manage their account.
Business customers can view bills and frequently dialled numbers on the site, which also provides an e-billing option.
