China to go 3G and expects 13 million users by 2011

3G mobile networks are yet to be set up in China. Even so, China-based consulting company Analysys International expects Chinese 3G mobile communication subscribers to hit 13 million by 2011.
China’s self-developed 3G mobile communication standard, TD-SCDMA, will come into commercial operation later this year.
