HTC gets ODM for Sony Ericsson’s Xperia X1

High Tech Computer (HTC) this week reported that it has received its first ever top-tier vendor ODM order. The ODM is for the manufacture of Sony Ericsson’s Windows-mobile based Xperia X1 handset.
The Xperia X1 is currently being showcased by Sony Ericsson at the 2008 GSMA Mobile World Congress in Barcelona from 11th-14th February. The handset will be available for consumer purchase from the second half of 2008.
