Firecomms announce plastic optical fiber plans

Firecomms Ltd., have announced plans to introduce high performance plastic optical fiber networks, to support broadband applications in residential and commercial environments.
The Plastic Optical Fiber development from Firecomms means a low cost product can be produced for a market now worth over $1 billion per year, and a new alternative to copper.
